We had no issues until we updated to Big Sur 11.4 and then (weirdly only on one Mac) we couldn't share screen in Zoom (it was caught in an endless loop of asking for Screen Recording Permissions!).

We use video cameras, via an UltraStudio Mini Recorder, into converters, to the Mac to run live webinar training sessions.

I set the Mini Recorder to the same settings in OBS as in the other software, but it just does not show up at all.Ġ8:22:54: No Intel graphics adapter visible in QSVHelper.exe, Optimus problem?Ġ8:23:56: Open Broadcaster Software v0.638b - 32bit (´・ω・`)Ġ8:23:56: -Ġ8:23:56: CPU Name: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core ProcessorĠ8:23:56: Physical Memory: 4095MB Total, 4095MB FreeĠ8:23:56: stepping id: 0, model 2, family 21, type 0, extmodel 0, extfamily 3, HTT 1, logical cores 8, total cores 4Ġ8:23:56: monitor 1: pos=, attached=trueĠ8:23:58: =Stream Start:, 08:23:58=Ġ8:23:58: Multithreaded optimizations: OnĠ8:23:58: -Ġ8:23:58: Loading up D3D10 on AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (Adapter 1).Ġ8:23:58: Using desktop audio input: Realtek Digital Output(Optical) (Realtek High Definition Audio)Ġ8:23:58: Scene buffering time set to 700Ġ8:24:00: Connection to (null) failed: No server specified to connect toĠ8:24:00: Total frames encoded: 35, total frames duplicated: 0 (0.00%)Ġ8:24:00: Total frames rendered: 60, number of late frames: 0 (0.00%) (it's okay for some frames to be late)Ġ8:24:00: ~RTMPPublisher: Packet flush completed in 0 msĠ8:24:00: Number of times waited to send: 0, Waited for a total of 0 bytesĠ8:24:00: Number of b-frames dropped: 0 (0%), Number of p-frames dropped: 0 (0%), Total 0 (0%)Ġ8:24:00: =Ġ8:24:00: video thread frame - Ġ8:24:00: | scene->Preprocess - Ġ8:24:00: | GPU download and conversion - Ġ8:24:00: | | flush - Ġ8:24:00: | | CopyResource - Ġ8:24:00: | | conversion to 4:2:0 - Ġ8:24:00: Convert444Threads - Ġ8:24:00: | Convert444toNV12 - Ġ8:24:00: encoder thread frame - Ġ8:24:00: | sending stuff out - Ġ8:24:00: video thread frame - Ġ8:24:00: | GPU download and conversion - Ġ8:24:00: Convert444Threads - Ġ8:24:00: encoder thread frame - Ġ8:24:00: =Stream End:, 08:24:00=Ġ8:36:37: =Stream Start:, 08:36:37=Ġ8:36:37: Multithreaded optimizations: OnĠ8:36:37: -Ġ8:36:37: Loading up D3D10 on AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (Adapter 1).Ġ8:36:37: Using desktop audio input: Realtek Digital Output(Optical) (Realtek High Definition Audio)Ġ8:36:37: Scene buffering time set to 700Ġ8:36:47: Total frames encoded: 273, total frames duplicated: 0 (0.00%)Ġ8:36:47: Total frames rendered: 299, number of late frames: 1 (0.Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the same issues I had at work but I finally got everything working on our Macs. The Mini Recorder is receiving video via SDI and the other applications can see the video.
I can select either, edit the properties and configure them, but when clicking OK, it never shows up in the list of Global Sources.
When setting up OBS to add a Global Source, and selecting the Video Capture Device, the Mini Recorder shows up as both a WDM capture and also as the BM Video capture. All other software that I have tried that can capture or access the Video/Audio inputs works with the Mini Recorder, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 w/ SP2, BlackMagic Media Express, Dataton Watchout 5.5.1, etc. Just downloaded OBS yesterday to test it on this system.
Thanks for making this software available.
